Modification for Divorce of Paternity Decree
Elmore Law can assist you in the modification of an existing Divorce of Paternity Decree. If the desired modification is uncontested, we charge the following flat rates:
- DIY no kids - $475.00 + a filing fee of $100.00 paid directly to the Court = $575.00 total cost
- DIY w/kids - $575.00 + a filing fee of $100.00 paid directly to the Court = $675.00 total cost
- Attorney assisted without kids - $900.00 (this includes the $100.00 filing fee paid to the Court by our office as your counsel)
- Attorney assisted w/kids - $1000.00 (this includes the $100.00 filing fee paid to the Court by our office as your counsel)
Contested Modifications
Elmore Law also can assist you in a contested modification. The office generally requires a $2500.00 - $3000.00 retainer, to be billed hourly, to begin work on a contested modification.
In many circumstances the filing fee may be waived. For more information on waivers, you can visit the Court's website.
